Andy Reid Has Lost His Mind
I have been behind the coach on most of the moves he has made, but three defensive backs with the top three picks.  The best part of our defense has been the defensive backs. I understand, we need more backs to compete with the Rams and the new Redskins offenses and our back are getting older.  But three in our top three picks, in a draft that is strong and plentiful with that position seem a stretch.  The Eagles have other needs that could have been addressed with one of those second round picks.  The pick of Brian Westbrook, I was hoping it could have waited a round or two, however I do not know if he would have lasted.

The Eagles have left us hanging.  This only adds to our frustration. I understand the use of deception with the draft issues.  They got burned with the Warwick Dunn/ Duce Staley and the Trotter issues.

The off season moves are not a problem in my mind.  I like the addition of S Blaine Bishop (from the Titans) and LB Shawn Barber (from the Redskins) to replace S Damian Moore (injury) and LB Mike Caldwell (to the Bears).

The Jeremiah Trotter debacle, I understand the reasoning behind the decision,  but it hurts that he went to the Skins.

We need help in other areas: Offensive Line, Defensive Line, Wide Receiver and Linebacker.

What are your thoughts?

I hope today will be better.
